A language every child already speaks.
Play is how children naturally communicate and process their feelings. Our trauma-informed play therapists meet your child right where they are — building safety, connection, and real coping skills, one session at a time.
No referral needed. Most major insurance accepted.

Types of play therapy
Every child connects differently — we draw from a range of approaches to find what fits.
Sand Tray Therapy
Children build worlds in the sand tray, giving them a hands-on, nonverbal way to process experiences and emotions.
Art Therapy
Drawing, painting, and other creative work help kids express feelings that are hard to put into words.
EMDR
An evidence-based approach that helps children process difficult or traumatic memories at their own pace.
Music Therapy
Rhythm, sound, and song offer another natural outlet for emotional expression and connection.
Puppet Play
Puppets give children a safe layer of distance to explore feelings, relationships, and difficult experiences.
Animal-Assisted Play Therapy
Interacting with animals can help children feel calm, safe, and more open during sessions.
Answers for parents
What age is play therapy for?
Play therapy is most often used with children roughly ages 3 to 12, though every approach is tailored to your child's age, personality, and developmental stage.
Will I be in the room during sessions?
It depends on your child's age, needs, and comfort level. Some sessions include parents directly, while others give your child their own space to open up — we'll talk through what makes the most sense for your family.
How long before we see progress?
Every child's timeline is different. Some families notice small shifts within a few sessions, while deeper work — especially around trauma — can take longer. We check in regularly on progress and goals along the way.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans and can help you verify your benefits before your first session. If we're out of network for your plan, we're happy to discuss self-pay options.
