As the compassionate and welcoming voice behind Treehaven Counseling, Heather Horak ensures every client’s first experience feels supportive, calming, and deeply cared for. As our Client Care Coordinator, she is often the very first person clients speak with—and her warmth, empathy, and genuine desire to help set the tone for the healing journey ahead. Clients regularly share how Heather makes them feel understood, hopeful, and reassured from the very first phone call.

Heather expertly coordinates client care, guiding each person to the therapist who best fits their needs, schedule, and goals. Her intuitive ability to connect with people—paired with her nurturing, detail-oriented approach—makes her an integral part of Treehaven Counseling’s mission and daily operations. She is the grounding, friendly presence who ensures every client feels supported before they ever walk in the door.

Raised in College Station, Heather loves cheering on the Aggies and brings that same team-spirit energy into her work. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, and listening to live music. She shares her life with her amazing husband, her son, her daughter, and their golden doodle, Beaumont “Beau,” who keeps the whole family smiling.
