Meet Jayne Anne

Jayne Anne Ammar

Howdy! I’m Jayne Anne. I’m a master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University and a Counseling Intern at Treehaven Counseling under the supervision of Rebecca Ray, LMFT-S.

I’m passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space for young adults who are navigating the transition into adulthood and finding themselves unsure of who they are, what they want, or where they’re headed. Maybe you’re entering college, beginning a career, or finding that the path you once imagined for yourself no longer feels quite right. Along the way, you may also be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck.

Together, we explore your experiences, patterns, relationships, and the ways you’ve learned to navigate the world. Through greater self-understanding, my hope is that you can make sense of where you’ve been, gain clarity about what matters to you, and develop greater confidence in making choices that reflect who you are and who you want to become.

Before beginning my clinical training, I spent several years as a board-certified health and wellness coach, supporting clients as they identified what mattered most to them and made meaningful, sustainable changes. I bring that same belief in each person’s capacity for growth into my counseling work. I use a person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach, offering thoughtful questions and reflections to help you uncover your own insights rather than telling you who you should be or what you should do.

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, encouraging space where you can be curious about yourself, make sense of your experiences, and explore what comes next. My role is to walk alongside you as you discover your own answers and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and authentically your own.
