Meet Ryan
Ryan Rowe
Hi! My name is Ryan Rowe (she/her), and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (Lic. #85446) based in Houston, Texas. With extensive experience working with clients ranging from ages 4 to 65, I proudly serve a diverse client base across various cultures and nationalities. Whether you're a school-aged child or a full-time professional, I am committed to providing support both in-office and virtually throughout Texas. I am in network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and United/Optum.
Throughout my practice, I have established strong rapport and effectiveness with numerous clients, especially children, teens, and adults. I believe in the power of self-improvement and the importance of taking decisive steps toward bettering oneself. My ideal clients are those who are motivated and determined to make necessary changes in their lives. Together, we will work on self-reflection, accountability, and stepping outside of your comfort zone to achieve your goals. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, postpartum issues, behavioral challenges, or anger management, I am here to support you in your therapeutic journey.
My approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor. I aim to provide holistic care that addresses both the mind and the body. Throughout the process, open communication and trust are prioritized to create a safe and supportive environment. Regular progress evaluations ensure that the approach remains effective and adjustments are made as necessary. The ultimate aim is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to navigate life's challenges and achieve lasting well-being. My therapeutic approach is tailored to address the impact of your history and current problems that might be hindering your growth or self-fulfillment.
Outside of work, I LOVE to cook (Seafood Gumbo, anyone?—You can’t go wrong with those amazing Cajun spices). I dance, listen to music, lift weights, and I host a podcast with my bestie (seriously, probably the most fun part of my week!). I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and my sorority sister’s and I do many hours of community service right here in Houston. I absolutely love volunteering and giving back to a community that gives so much to me! I recently started running again, and I’m hoping to run a 5K in the future. I grew up in a large family (I’m the oldest daughter of 7). On the weekends I love hosting friends and family for awesome theme parties.
If you are navigating the challenges of depression and anxiety, seeking to explore your sense of self and purpose, or are motivated to enhance your relationships, I am here to support you. Whether in-person in Houston or virtually anywhere in Texas, let's work together to achieve your mental health goals.
